June 29, 2010/Personal Letter "I've been itching to jot you this scribble of praise since first listening to "for Good" when it arrived earlier this month. FINALLY, a brief quiet moment - after a 500 mile drive through Eastern Montana, 450 of those miles fueled by your awe -some songs. Fine, FINE lyrics, man, and I fucking should know, as I've been writing poetry for purt'near 40 years, purt-near "Full Time!" Move over, I love your vocals (Thanks for keeping them out in front in the mix,) your honest & alluring voice. All but 1 or 2 cuts soar for me & especially like "Sex on Monday," "Ride" the last 4-5 tracks really groove - Ahh, shit they're all keepers, Kirk! Congratulations. I look forward to hearing more. By the way, I'm a big Dylan, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen fan. Hope you dig 1 or 2 tracks on the enclosed CD, though I know this aint your brand of music." ~Paul Zarzyski, Bucking Horse Moon Music. Paul Zarzyski, the recipient of the 2005 Governor’s Arts Award for Literature, has been spurring the words wild across the open range of the page and calling it Poetry for 37 years. Today Paul makes his living, his life, as a poet*writing, teaching, lecturing. In November of 2008, Paul collaborated with renowned musician Wylie Gustafson and producer John Carter Cash at the Cash Cabin Studio in Nashville, where they recorded HANG-n-RATTLE!

**April 12, 2010 /Review "Your Album, For Good, is absolutely terrific!!! While I am probably not the audience you had in mind, I played the album twice, then kept replaying the songs furthest from rock (two). All This Way is a great opener for the album. Perfection: I Shouldn't Say What I'm Saying." ~ Red Shuttleworth
Red Shuttleworth's Western Settings received the first Spur Award for Poetry from Western Writers of America in 2001. True West has named him "Best Living Western Poet."

To kill the band name confusion, Kirk & Erin have decided to put everything musical in their lives under one, big, name tent. From now on, no more "Kirk Duncan
**Kirk Duncan has had the honor of being nominated as 1 of 5 individuals for Best Male Artist of 2009 at the Portland Music Awards.
**Kirk & Erin are currently in the studio with the band working on a second album in Nashville. They are scheduled to return June 17, 2010.
**The Druthers are recording a separate EP of approximately five songs, all of which are new and are growing in popularity in their live shows.
